This picture does not do justice to just how high up both of these men are. Once more, I almost didn’t get the shot because I found myself in such awe of the image they presented. The photo comes from the final day of the  Japanese Cherry Blossom (Sakura) Festival held in Northern California on a spectacular sunny and warm day. Both men were clearly enjoying themselves as the procession moved on. But, the man up top? He was enjoying life to the fullest …

as it should be.

  1. Did you get some free 🍶? 😁 I missed the Cherry Blossom’s Festival in Japan Town this year. I was visiting my mom, and my sister came home with lots of goodies, and that’s when I realized I totally missed out! Hope it was a great treat!

    1. Ha! No, I missed out too! I didn’t really know too much about what was to happen on the two weekends in was held. So when I visited my friends, I only got to see the last day which was the day of the parade… Still, I enjoyed it even if I missed out on the goodies! I’ll probably add more pictured I took in the coming weeks…

        1. Yes, I have to admit I didn’t plan it out too well! Still, the photos made up for a lot of what I missed! I hear it, the Festival, has been growing every year… hope I can make up for it next year!
