It was fascinating to watch, this young lady trying so hard to maintain some semblance of composure as her photographer took shot after shot of her framed by a canopy of cherry blossoms.
She appeared to be directing the guy with the camera pointed at her, asking him to let her do ‘just one more’. She would give a slight shake of her head as if to clear away the thoughts which were causing the unwanted smiling, then steady herself.
Once ready and suitably composed, she’d give him the OK, only to have this smile happen time and time again. Eventually, say thirty seconds after I took this shot you are not looking at, she broke down completely in a fit of giggles, calling an end to the obvious ‘exercise in futility’.
My hope is that she and her photographer are both happy with the shots he took. I thought the semi-smiles spoke volumes!
