City of the Sun: Shadows and Silhouettes

Almost missed this one. I ended up doing an illegal u-turn on my bike to go back! Luckily I’m not too much of a daredevil when it comes to getting the shot. There was no traffic and yes, I made sure of it!; better safe than sorry! I’m just grateful the sun, the city, and the resulting light display waited for me to return and get into position. I’ve said it before, it bears repeating:

I don’t often carry the Nikon on early morning forays. It’s nice to know doing so can result in some truly inspiring photo/graphics-creating opportunities! Why did I call it, ‘City of the Sun’? The title suggested itself before I even completed the u-turn… could be the beginning of a new story???
