For the Atmospherically Challenged: A Recall to Sunnier Days in San Francisco

…I dream of sunnier days- K’lee L.

We here in San Francisco know come this time of year, while many of you are seeing the beginnings of REAL, consistently warmer days, our heavy fog banks tends to come home for a visit. It’s not too unusual for said fog to hang around for a month or three, keeping the weather on the cool and cloudy side.

It’s not that I’m complaining… too much. There’s plenty to do in the great outdoors here even when the sun is hidden behind a thick veil of clouds. One way I instantly feel a little better is through recalling sunnier days; those times when with camera in hand, I took a few shots of blue sky reflected in boat-dotted bluer waters with rusty red bridges spanning across the background…

(sigh…)

This particular photo came about during a series of gorgeous days; the kind we rarely get here in S.F.. Those of us ‘in the know’ and with cameras sometimes in tow, get out and record the phenomena. It makes the cloudy, ‘atmospherically challenged’ days of ‘summer’ a little easier to bear…
