KLDesignz, Feature of the Day: ‘Of Stillness and Light’

ships silhouetted on the sea, the calming effects of sunset light on water

thankful for small moments of stillness and light… K’lee L.

It was the rare late afternoon transforming itself into evening as  I hung out at the beach with a few friends visiting from Sweden. Ivaan does serious photography work there and wanted to scout out a few locations for a wedding shoot he’d be doing here in San Francisco in a few days later.

Luckily, I decided at the last minute to bring along my camera too as the weather was in cooperation mode. The image I’ve used here (photo made into graphics!) for these pieces happened as the sun went down. I’ve named it, ‘Of Stillness and Light’ well, because of the obvious cool light happening, but also because of the tanker on the horizon, silently drifting past the face of the setting sun in silhouette… impressed just about all present!

Glad I had the camera…

You can, if you feel inclined to do so, check out some of the early pieces I’ve made for KLDesignz, my Zazzle spot. We now have the option to link to entire ‘collections’, groupings of items with the same theme. There are currently fifteen or sixteen pieces in this ‘Of Stillness and Light’ collection. More than a few, not mindbogglingly overwhelming. More to come likely!

    1. Thanks. You know what they say about uploading larger pics online?

…easier downloads… I’m not sure if you noticed, but this particular image is linked to my KLDesignz store. It’s not necessary you purchase anything, looking is always free… (smile)
