You might wonder why a title like, ‘The Quest For Fire’ would lead me to shots taken above water? Maybe it’s not too unusual with me living so near the Pacific Ocean and being a big fan of bodies of water in general.
I started out imagining I’d use just one photo; a photo that actually involved real fire, but somehow I found myself coming back to the concept of a slideshow and the fire I see on a pretty regular basic in the skies over San Francisco.
With that said, I leave you to ponder my view and answer to the prompt, ‘The Quest For Fire’. Three shots, taken at different times of the year, all over water, all in the skies.
To see what Dale has ‘cooked up’, check out his challenge response here
Marsnplato actually offered up a challenge post on Friday, which I said I’d be sure to provide the link to as soon as this post went live today. You can check out her contribution right here
The awesome Linda G. Hill offered not one but three sublime shots to the challenge! Check them out here (and don’t forget to vote for your favorite!)
KG created this truly unique answer to the prompt.
Want to try it?
It’s not too hard. Create a post with a similar title to the one I have above. You can choose any depiction of a ‘quest for fire’ you come up with as your answer to the challenge. In your tags don’t forget to use the #CosPhoChal tag AND lastly, you can pingback by copying the URL of your completed post and pasting it into the comment section of this or Dale’s post. That way anyone reading our posts can read yours too.
easy, right?
Nice twist, I like it.

Beautiful. “Fire” popped into my head before I even read the theme of the challenge. 🙂

Absolutely. Never, ever apologize for getting excited, or being passionate, or feeling the fire!

No problem, my friend. I know what it’s like to have lots of ‘irons in the fire’.

Thanks, D. You know, ‘the quest’ can be applied to the world of words too? (Hint, hint)
