… dreaming of a new prompt…
It’s Friday again, which always means different things to differen people. Hopefully many of you are ending your week and looking at a little weekend relaxation. Here in the States, it’s Fourth of July weekend, so some people will luck out with a three-day break.
With that in mind, it’s the perfect time to get you ready for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, happening this Monday.
So far, Dale and I have done some interesting prompts:
This was our first one
Then we had this one
Oh, and who can forget this one?
So, as you can see we’ve had variety even in just these three. How to top them, that is the question. Well what I was thinking is:
Because I’ve shown you three different challenges in this post, the number three should feature heavily in this next challenge.
I’m going to call it, The Three Faces of Summer.
As Dale and I always do is keep the challenge wide open; allowing you, should you take it on, to interpret this prompt in any way you see fit. I know what I’m going to do come Monday, but I can’t tell you yet. It’s a secret.
Want to join?
Here’s how:
Create a post with ‘K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: The Three Faces of Summer’ in the title. Define and create as you will, copy the url of your post and add it to the comment section of either Dale’s or my Monday post once they’re up, and don’t forget to add the tag #CosPhoChal to your post’s tags and you’re done!
Easy, right?

Ok, that’s quite vague.
Hmm,…..

Well, Sir. Might I suggest if you find the prompt vague, go with ‘vague’ as a road in to the prompt. As we always do, the challenge is completely open to interpretation, so feel free to do it any way ya wanna do it! I am.

I’m kidding, vague is good. I’ve already picked a theme, just got to do some fiddling now…

Okay, well now you’re on the hot seat for that vague comment! Yours better shine, dude! Joking. I’m not absolutely sure what I’m doing to put together, but I’ve got a few ideas and the weekend to get them together.Right now I’m on the way out the door, but I’ll be watching for what you come up with!

It’s going to be another starring role for Audrey, I think. We were out in the sunshine, down at the park with her scooter. I’m thinking that I have THREE good shots to play with…

I’ve been doing all manner of mucking about while Rhonda’s been working late this evening…

Hmm, when you say ‘mucking about’, that could mean all sorts of things… scientific experiments on recently uncovered alien bodies… Creating your own form of artificial intelligence…?

Nah, I did that last weekend.

Better not tell of many folks… Before you know it you’ve got the world’s press camped out on the doorstep looking for stories…

Not with my newly invented cloaking device, obscuring the seven hundred storey building which houses the Diary of an Internet Nobody offices, making it appear from the outside to be nothing more threatening than a small residential apartment complex.

Well, even the most technologically advanced cloaking devices can get glitchy is the word on the streets. Has to do with the negative ion ration to positronic fluctuations in the atmosphere over England. You don’t want yours giving away your offices at some crucial moment of invention…

You do muck about, don’t you. I need to do more of that myself. I did get to do some macro shooting today. Got some crazy close ups of dragonflies for only the second time in my illustrious photographer career. I’ve got to work on them this evening. I’ll send you one, you can tell me what you think, if you’d be so kind.

Cool, let’s see what you got.

I need to go get some dinner, then edit one to a manageable size. My camera takes 30 mb size shots which are too big to send… After that, I can send one over.

Hey, you want a regular photo-photo of a dragonfly, or a ‘mucked about’ photo of a dragonfly?

Okay. Cool. I’ll have figured it out by the time I return in an hour or so. I’ll sent it to you via email channels.
