K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: The Three Faces of Summer

Okay, so the first thing I have to say is I started out with the prompt-recommended three ‘faces’ or photos depicting summer, but got carried away when I realized how many photos I have from summer months.

In a case like this, I did the only thing I could: I added all five final shots to a slideshow. One shot of the beach, two from different (massive) parades held here in SF, one featuring outdoor eats actually prepared by yours truly, and last but certainly not least, a mosaic of a few exotic cars I dream about having… (sigh).

So, there you have it, my ‘The Three Faces of Summer’, tweaked and twisted into graphics AND five not three. I’ll take it, the outcome not all the things in all the shots!

KG gave us this fantastic answer to the challenge

Marciadid did an awesome job with this classic creation

nice, right?

And what about you? Thinking about possibly adding your “The Three Faces of Summer’ idea to the challenge? You can, you know. It’s not that hard.

One of the best ways of making it happen is this:

Create your post. Let it be anything you want as it relates to ‘The Three Faces of Summer’. In the comments of this post or the one you’ll find over at my buddy Dale’s site, copy the url (web address) of your finished post and paste it into your comment. What that does is ‘ping’ or connect you to our post so anyone wanting to check out your masterpiece can just click the link in the comments and be whisked away to your post!

Cool and easy, huh?

  2. I like your take on summer. 🙂 The treatment you gave them works great. The beach scene almost looks “antiqued,” and I also really like the “painted” effect. Now, if we could just get into the 70’s up here I might head to the beach 🙂
