What’s The Prompt: K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge

K'lee and Dale's Cosmic Photo Challenge, prompt challenge, creating a challenge

… dreaming of a new prompt…

Another Friday, another cosmic prompt bought to you by ‘K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge’.

I’m not sure about Dale, but I tend to seek out a photo first, then look at creating a challenge based on the find. It’s worked so far and I’m hoping this new one works too.

For the coming Monday, I’m calling the challenge ‘Shadows and Silhouettes’.

As with all of our challenges, the definition of ‘Shadows and Silhouettes’ is completely up to you. If you choose to add your voice, do it in YOUR way, period. We like it when you do.

Remember also you need not choose right this minute. The purpose of this Friday post is simply to get you ready, to consider something for this coming Monday.

What’s that? You want to know what I’m doing for the challenge? I’d tell you, but as I mentioned in another post, I’d then be forced to wipe your memory. Success rates in doing so vary I’m afraid so I’d rather not.

Ready to create? Good. Make your post, copy the URL address of it and paste it into the comment section of Monday’s ‘K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge’ post either here on Obzervashunal or at Dale’s blog. Lastly, add the tag #CosPhoChal and you’re done!

‘Shadows and Silhouettes’

Give it a try if you want. I bet you’ll do just fine.

  1. Umm, actually, no, I rather thought the idea of this was that it was a CHALLENGE. I pick a prompt totally out of thin air and then have to think of something to fit the prompt.
Doesn’t this give you something of an advantage?
I thought this was how prompts work, by nudging you to come up with an idea. Have I been doing it wrong all this time?

Oh well, each to his own, I’ll carry on using the prompt to inspire my pictures, you can do it the other way round, I’m easy.

    1. Consider when you read the post. Reading it on Friday for a posting on the coming Monday means you haven’t seen a ‘finished’ challenge yet. You in effect don’t know what I will do, and I say ‘will do’ because as of right now, I haven’t committed anything to the post except the words Shadows and Silhouettes. Therefore, I respectfully reject the notion of an unfair advantage, dude. I mention looking through my photos first because it gets my though process engaged. Is that giving me an advantage? Um, probably not…

          1. Which part?
The first part just means I tend to not get wound up,worked up, over emotional. The second part just means if you talk to me, I’m going to answer you, that’s all.
