K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Into The Light

I’m not use to running so late on a Monday! Sometimes getting up early counts for nothing at all! With that off my chest, I can get to work on fulfilling my end of the ‘K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge’ for the week.

This particular Monday, it was Dale’s turn to come up with a prompt, and on this past Friday, he did just that. ‘Into the Light’ is the prompt he offered, and as always, it’s up to each and every one of us taking the challenge to define it in whatever way we choose so long as we ‘show Dale our BRILLIANCE’.

I again decided to go with a very recent shot, taken again at one of the coolest hangouts San Francisco has to offer: The Palace of Fine Arts. I’m doing another bird shot because, well just because… I chose a swan this time. We have a mated pair at the lake here. This shot is of the mean-tempered male. Actually, he’s not really mean in the truest sense of the word, he’s TERRITORIAL, and if you get too close to either him or his gal swan, he won’t hesitate to go for your ankles… because he’s figured out lots of those shoe-things we humans wear END around the ankles… smart swan, huh?

Here then is my offering for ‘Into The Light’

San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts, swan lake

golden light, a swan, a lake- what more could you ask for?

Did I tell you I have fantastic hearing? I can even hear your thoughts! You’re wondering how you can get involved in the ‘K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, right? It’s not too hard:

Just create you ‘Into The Light’ post. Give it a similar title to the one above or to Dale’s via the link to his site at the top of this post. Copy the URL of your finished post and paste it into the comment section of either Dale’s or my post. Finish things up by adding the world famous #CosPhoChal tag to your tag section and guess what? You’re done!

    1. It’s kind of ironic, this big guy loves for his fans to feed him, but once the food stops coming, it’s ankle-time again. The light we get on sunny afternoons here comes close to this, but hey- you asked for BRILLIANCE, so I had to step it up!

This is the happy feeling I get on Sunday afternoon after enjoying Champagne brunch. Basically playing with food, except I choose to play with my camera and champagne flute.
