Another Friday here in Northern California is winding down. We’ve been feeling the rain for some days now, with more on the way tonight into Saturday. I don’t mind it too much so long as I’m not slogging around outside in it.
One of the good things about a partially wet, wintery weekend is it leaves me no excuses to not sit down and begin considering the latest prompt in the, ‘K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.
We’ve got a first this coming Monday in that I gave you ‘When Day Turns to Night’ this past Monday. My buddy Dale has gone and flipped it for the coming challenge into: ‘When Night Turns to Day’.
As always, both Dale and myself highly encourage any and all takers of these challenges to go all in; create your version, your definition of the prompt with utter and complete artistic freedom. That means any and all effects, coloring, wording (words ARE permitted with your image(s)). Do it any way you see fit, just have fun in the creative process is all we ask.
For a look at Dale’s prompt post of today so you can read his very own words on this new challenge, here’s a link
Have I decided on my answer to this new challenge yet?
Well, I’m thinking I could go with the following image from a previous post:
Nope. While it does represent night becoming the day… I think I’ll try something else…
I could go with this image from a previous post:
Nope. Again, it clearly represents the night and a new moon, no less, making way for the dawn, but I’m not feeling this one either…
I could try using this image from a previous post:
This one, the only composite shot of these three potentials, again shows night giving way to the day. I remember the pedaling my sore legs had to do to get this shot REALLY early in the morning… but no, this isn’t right either, which means I’ll just have to use a portion of the weekend to come up with something new!
Here’s hoping you’ll consider joining Dale and myself.
How to join in?
Not to hard to do… create your post like you normally would. Be sure to give it a similar title like the one you’ll find either here on Obzervashunal come Monday or over at Dale’s site. (link’s up above!) You can ‘pingback’ by copying your newly wrought post’s URL and pasting it into the comment section of either Dale’s Monday post pertaining to the challenge, or the one you find here.
Next, be sure to add the tag #CosPhoChal ’cause it’ll help others find your new creation a whole lot faster. Once you hit the publish button, you’re done!
Hope you all have a great weekend!
