K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Straight Lines

new years resolution, photo challenge

Monday is here and I welcome it mainly because of the short break in the very rainy week we’re having here in northern California. The moisture returns tomorrow so there you have it!

I also welcome Mondays as it means a brand new, ‘K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge’ is on tap.

My buddy Dale took the charge today, and on Friday offered us the following prompt:

STRAIGHT LINES

What does it mean? How do I define it? How would you define it… saying you took on the challenge?

One of the things I enjoy most about doing these challenges is that Dale and I really did made a point of keeping the ‘door open’ when it comes to the definition of the challenge. In other words, you can do it/define it any way you want. The creativity and expression is all yours.

With that said, I decided to answer this one primarily through the ‘lens’ of architecture. The way I saw the challenge, buildings, my shots representing various locales here in San Francisco, always provide cool and interesting lines. Once I decided to pursue the architectural bend, the shots seemed to rise to the surface.

Take a look at the slideshow I put together below and see if you agree. Oh, for more on the challenge and on how to get in on the act, check out Dale’s post right here

Best of the rest of Monday to you all…

  5. Hey. Could you check to see if I have been moved to your spam folder. My latest pingback and comments won’t go through. I am having this issue with several challenges and it seems to be growing. Thanks.
