Alright, it’s Monday again and that could mean you’re starting your week, are in the middle of your week, or ending it. It’s never the same day for everybody. One thing that remains the same on Mondays here at Obzervashunal and at my buddy Dale’s site, Diary of an Internet Nobody, is the K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge get’s its weekly reveal.
On this Friday past, I left you all with the latest in our series of prompts, which we bring to light and life on Mondays. The title of that prompt:
Musings From a Macro World
Now, when it comes to photography, macro work is something I’m really learning to enjoy. My definition of macro tends to focus- well on the extreme focus in a zoom sense of whatever the subject you happen to make your subject!
Oftentimes two of macro photography’s most recognizable subjects are flowers and insects. There are lots of great ones out there on the internet so no need for me to set up links… they are virtually everywhere.
Now, with all that said, Dale and I would never insist anyone choosing to join our challenges be hampered by one or two subjects. No, we’d rather see you get creative if you so desire and branch it out. Afterall, macro shots can be of anything so long as you’re focusing in on those DETAILS.
Knowing I’ll revisit this topic again, I did for this post stick to the ‘tried and true’, using some previously shot macro works of flowers and insects. I figured Spring isn’t here yet, but flowers and insects are good reminders that it is on the way even if the ground where you are is currently covered in snow and frost.
Again, with that said, I give you my latest MACRO SLIDESHOW as a bit of an ode to the coming spring season:
So, there you have it. My Musings From a Macro World. Joining in on our prompts is really not that hard. Just follow these simple steps and you’re in:
Create your post as you normally do. Copy the URL of your newly created post and paste it into the comment section of either this or Dale’s challenge post(we call it a pingback!). Add our tag #CosPhoChal to your post’s tags and that’s all she wrote, you are done!
