It’s Friday again… with the arrival of this fifth day of the week (here in Northern California, I must add) either being a good thing or… well, something other than a good thing?
Here at Obzervashual and at my buddy Dale’s site, we know Fridays to also be ‘prompt day’. That’s right, prompt day where either Dale or myself will rain down (or just offer up?) an incredible new prompt for those creatively minded image-makers to consider adding to the K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, which by the way, always gets its unveiling on the Monday immediately after the Friday giving of the prompt!
(See how I did that?)
Now, this week… this Friday of the week, it’s my turn to offer said prompt and after careful deliberation with the cteative voices in my head (good voices! Good voices!), I decided on the following:
Look to the Skies… What exactly does it mean?
Well, Dale and I, when it comes to these challenges, want you to define that! Tell us what you think it is and then build your creative vision from there!
Now, I will say this: What I’d like to see happen if you do decide to join in on the fun, is a minimum of two images and they can be the same work so long as the two REALLY look different from each other. If (like me!) You are so inclined, three images would be fantastic and three from completely different concepts of Look to the Sky would … well, it would be magical and would make me smile…lots.
I want to also say here while I’m thinking it, Look to the Sky can of course be focused on the actual sky, but it can be lots of other things too.
It can be creatures that actually use the sky as means of transporting themselves from one place to another…
It can be planes- big or small, that transport we humans from place to place…
It can me clouds, storms, pollen, sheets blowing in the wind…
Ultimately, it’s on YOU to define it so long as the sky is somehow represented… you’re good.
For those of you who may have found my site and are as you read this, considering joining us, here’s how you do it:
Create your post as normal and be sure to give it a title somewhat similar to what you see above. Come Monday, you can create what’s called ‘a pingback’ by copying your newly minted post’s URL ad pasting it into the comment section of the post you find here or at Dale’s site. (there’s a link up above in this post AND Monday’s posting will have one too.
Lastly, be sure to use our tag #CosPhoChal so even more folks can see your incredible post. With all that done, so are you!
Done that is!
Have an awesome weekend everyone!
