Welcome to a new Monday and a brand new ‘K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge’. This week, well this past Friday, my buddy Dale offered up a pretty intriguing prompt:
‘From and Unusual Angle’
Now I admit, at first I really didn’t know where I was going to take this one. I knew I didn’t have many shots other than my macro (ultra-closeup shots) that could work as photos taken from unusual angles. Something kept telling me I didn’t want to go the macro route. I needed to find another avenue to explore.
After a weekend’s worth of careful deliberation, I decided to go with a trio of shots, which while not initially shot from unusual angles, could be manipulated in a highly creative way to give the impression of extreme angularity!
As I often do, I decided to present them in slideshow format. These shots represent just a smidgen of San Francisco’s cool architecture, twisted and angled so as to create… well here, take a look:
Now, having done this excellent challenge, I’m convinced I need to start getting out and shooting more architecture, BUT with UNUSUAL ANGLES in mind!
I and those of you willing to take on this challenge, have Dale to thank for coming up with this one.
Thanks Dale!!!
Meanwhile, if you want to both see what Dale himself cooked up for this challenge, please head back up near the top of this post for not only a link to his site/post, but a refresher on how to join in on the fun!
Hope you all are having a fantastic Monday!
