Silently on Saturday: Revisiting the Violet Moon

silence, meditation, Saturdays, weekends

I create lots of images. There are times when it seems my computer’s hard drive has hundreds if not thousands more than it should, but  I guess I wouldn’t have it any other way. What I don’t find use for today may spark inspiration tomorrow.

I like having lots of images.

I say all that to then say sometimes revisiting an image is the needed thing and for this particular ‘Silently on Saturday’ posting I’m doing a re-posting of a previous image. It comes from a time when my photographic focus was all about the moon.

I was in the process of learning the best way of shooting the moon and decided on creating the following composite (blended) image:

Hope your Saturday transpired silently…

…or not (?)

  1. That is stunning. I instantly felt music. What a great title – The Violet Moon. Can I write in the color violet? If i can compose an emotion can I compose a color? I think I posted right after you. It included a new piece of music although it is really for the post I’m writing on Jamie’s site but put it with this one, too. I recorded it 5 days ago and completely forgot about it until I listened last night. Also – did you see the message I had left you on Red Bubble, or does someone else monitor those messages? I thought I’d check with you.

    • Thanks, Sonni! You won’t believe this but I just left a comment on your site about the Redbubble comment! I said FAA, but yes, RB instead… funny how that works, huh? Looking forward to hearing the new music too.
