Silently on Saturday: Silence in the Roaring Wave

silence, meditation, Saturdays, weekends

Ah, you know me. Well, those of you who KNOW me- know me when I get to talking about the OCEAN and how big a roll it plays in humbling me, centering me, reintroducing me to my truest self. It’s always been so, even when I didn’t know it as  truth it was my truth…

Having said those words, I’m bought back to a photo for today’s ‘Silently on Saturday’ post I took some time ago, which reminds me not only of the power inherent in the ocean’s waves, but more importantly, the stillness- the silence as it were that I come to when in the majestic presence of my beloved Pacific Ocean:

Oddly enough, the roar of the waves for me is its own type of ‘silence’; the meditative kind, the peace-full kind I continually long for and deeply appreciate.

I don’t suppose I’ll ever tire of mornings like this one.

Here’s hoping your Saturday has been blessed… silently… or not?

    1. I think it’s not so much the locale, but what we allow ourselves to feel in that locale’s presence that matters most. Besides, a zumba class and time in a garden sounds kind of awesome to me!
