K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Otherworldly & Alien Artifacts

prompts, challenges, photography, creativity

Hey All,

Welcome to another Monday morning here at Obzervashunal. It’s time, for those in the know, for another unveiling of the latest in the, ‘K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge’.

Every week, I and my buddy Dale take turns offering up new prompts for the following Monday’s showing.

What’s the prompt again?

Otherworldly & Alien Artifacts, not such an easy prompt, I know. But if you’ve read my Friday post, you’ll see where and why I chose this ‘otherworldly’ topic.

Initially, I wanted to take a stab at creating a photo-based experiment on both topics. As I got working on the post though, I found myself leaning exclusively towards the ‘otherworldly’ portion of the challenge.

This is what I came up with:

Four works in the painted graphic styling I’m becoming accustomed to. I even decided San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Bridge should get its own galactic remake!

what about you?

Want to give this challenge a go? It’s not so hard. Here’s what you do:

Create your post as you normally do. Give it a title where you use at least one of the keywords from the image/prompt title above. Once done you can copy your post’s URL and paste it into the comment section of either Dale’s or this challenge post.

Lastly, if you add our #CosPhoChal tag to your post’s tags it makes it easy for others to see and cheer for your work!

A final note:

You’re free also to choose one of the two topics or both. It’s all up to you.

If you’re here in the States, have a fantastic Fourth. For everyone else, welcome to a new week. Hope it turns out great!

  1. Sorry I missed this one – I’ve been in the throes of moving from my home of 32 years and finally have time to breathe. However the only posts I’ve been able to publish were ones that were already in completed draft form at the time of the prompt. In the case of your prompt I am presenting an old post I did on on ‘Matter’ – a really science-fi app: https://elizabatz.wordpress.com/2015/04/06/matter-a-photo-app-sci-fi-structures/
