K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Interiors

prompts, challenges, photography, creativity

That’s the buzz word here at Obzervashunal today. Why? Well, Mondays here have been all about the unveiling of the latest, ‘K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, that’s why!

For the latest challenge, my buddy Dale took the helm and gave us that prompt up above.

What does it mean?

What did it mean for me as I considered the creation of this post? I had a few ideas of where I wanted to take it, one being architectural interiors.

I didn’t take that  route, but because I do have a good number of architectural interior photos, I may have to return to the topic and do a post on it sometime in the not so distant future.

What I decided to use for my ‘answer’ to the challenge was the interior of a pretty cool spot here in San Francisco: The Conservatory of Flowers, which is located in our equally cool Golden Gate Park.

Now, don’t be fooled- there are lots of flowers in my photos. I couldn’t help that as that’s kind of what the Conservatory is for. I’d argue that these four shots focus more on the interior structure and how it relates to the plant life within.

I invite you to take a look below. Let me know what you think?

Done in the slideshow format I’ve taken a liking to of late, these four shots, I feel, show how cool the Conservatory of flowers truly is. It’s a great spot to relax, to show off to visiting friends and family, and there’s always new exhibits throughout the year!

Why wouldn’t you want to check it out?

For more on this challenge, please check out the link to Dale’s site above. You’ll see his amazing work as well as learn how you can still add your creative voice to the mix.

Here’s hoping you all ave a great Monday and a fantastic week ahead.

    1. Thanks. Our conservatory really is a cool spot. I’ve got to get some of the shots I took at the butterfly exhibit in a post soon. Absolutely amazing stuff…
