K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Faces!

prompts, challenges, photography, creativity

One word, that if you stopped by Obzervashunal (this site!) on Friday, you may have taken time to read about FACES and how my buddy Dale made this one word the latest in our series of photographic challenges called:

(note: I’d make those words above echo or something if I knew how… one day…)

Anyhow, today is Monday, and for those of you in the know, Mondays mean the unveiling of the prompt offered the past Friday…

K'lee and Dale's Cosmic Photo Challenge, prompt challenge, creating a challenge

Oh. You want to know what I did with the challenge?

What kind of FACES did I come up with?

Well, this one I was ready for! I say that only because not too long ago, San Francisco’s Mission District hosted the yearly celebration we like to call CARNIVAL.

I made a post about it. You can read more here..

In the linked post above, I make mention of taking a thousand pictures… conservatively. For today’s challenge post I knew heading back into my carnival archives would present me with lots to choose from… FACES, that is.

So, here are just a few of the FANTASTIC FACES – given the ‘painted graphic’ treatment AND the slideshow styling I tend to use:

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I can tell you, ten more posts on FACES wouldn’t be enough to show all the great ones I saw this day. These are just a sampling…

What about your version of FACES?

If you’re considering joining us in this challenge, here’s all you need to do:

Create your post as you normally do. Give it a title with the word FACES added. Once done you can copy your post’s URL and paste it into the comment section of either Dale’s or this challenge post. This creates what’s called a ‘pingback’.

Lastly, if you add our #CosPhoChal tag to your post’s tags it makes it easy for others to see and cheer for your work!

Here’s hoping your Monday is all you need it to be!
