K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Home is Where the Heart Is

prompts, challenges, photography, creativity

Ah, late day of work all around. There’s good and bad about late work days, but undoubtedly things are slanted towards the good! One bit of good is it still is Monday and I have time to get my latest, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge post posted.

This past Friday, it was my turn at choosing a prompt (my buddy Dale chooses every other week!) and after careful deliberation, I decided on:

tomatoes in the kitchen

The idea behind this particular prompt is to take a look at that corner of your home where your HEART resides.

Where does my HEART reside in my home?

Why, it shouldn’t be to hard to figure out if you’ve spent any time perusing Obzervashunal.

…it’s all about the books:

Now, as some of you know, many of my photos here on Obzervashunal eventually not only get the ‘slideshow effect’, they also get the ‘painted graphic’ effect as well. That’s what I’ve done again here.

I’ve always been a heavy and serious reader. When I moved into my current home, one of the great joys was in building my floor-to-ceiling book shelves. Those of you who have similar settings and enjoy reading as I do know what I mean!

My heart is in my books. It resides in other places as well, but when I’m home relaxing, books or the continued writing of my own books… this is it!

How about you?

Where in your home does your heart reside?

Wanna let us know by joining our challenge?

Here’s how you do it:

Create your post as you normally do. Title it with some or all the words from the actual prompt. Once done, you can copy your post’s URL and paste it into the comment section of either Dale’s (linked above!) or the challenge post you’ll see here come Monday. This creates what’s called a ‘pingback’; letting others see your amazing work.

Lastly, if you add our #CosPhoChal tag to your post’s tags and you’re done!

Happy Monday All!

    1. I have a similar story from the time I lived in Munich. When I left I just had too many books to bring back to the U.S. Luckily, I was also able to donate at least two hundred books before flying out. It made a big difference to me! In my current home, I’m both a big book and magazine reader. I have kept plenty of both for my reading pleasure.

    1. Hey Jon! Thanks for those words. They and you are deeply appreciated. It’s great to get to discover your creativity as well. I’m a HUGE scifi fan, an avid reader, and a bit of a writer myself. Keep up the fantastic posts, my friend. If you write it, they will come…
