Silently on Saturday: Passages in Blue

silence, meditation, Saturdays, weekends

Silently on Saturday… a silent photographic meditation…

I missed last week’s posting of, Silently on Saturday due to unforeseen circumstances. Luckily, this week, no such circumstances impede the path to posting!

Of late, I’ve been enjoying reaching back into my somewhat(!?) photographic archives to find a photo that speaks to what I’m feeling in the moment or as a summation of the Saturday I find myself living through and in.

For today’s post, I return to my favorite subject on the planet:

I admit freely, the ocean is where its at for me in terms of where I go and know, beyond the shadow of a doubt, my soul gets restored.

The following picture is what I’m feeling today:

ocean photography, painted graphics, Saturday

Silent tanker on the raging sea

Oddly, when I took the picture version of this photo-graphic, I remember it almost got away from me as I was initially fixated on the size of the waves and the very loud sound being produced by their movements.

I’m eternally grateful my ‘camera hand’ has developed a mind of its own and took the shot with very little input from my brain at the time.

Well, that’s it; my Silently on Saturday posting of a memorable day at the ocean.

Here’s hoping your Saturday, wherever you may be in the world is flowing silently…

…or not?
