K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: What’s the Prompt?

prompts, challenges, photography, creativity

where photos become their own COSMIC entity!

Welcome All to another Friday here at Obzervashunal.

long exposure photography, shadows and silhouettes, golden gate bridge photography

We stand on the cusp of a new weekend and here in Northern California, a weekend where we’re dealing with some of the worst fires to hit California in some time. Firefighters are working around the clock trying to contain and prevent more outbreaks.

I consider myself fortunate to only be dealing with smoky air wafting across the Bay from the more challenged regions. There’s a whole bunch of positive thoughts and prayers I’m sending out to the people north of here dealing with much more.

Here’s to hoping the help needed is the help being received…

Fridays here on Obzervashunal and at my buddy Dale’s site are, and have been for some time now, used for the unveiling of the latest prompt in our ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

This week, Dale retakes the helm and chose the following:

Looking Down

K'lee and Dale's Cosmic Photo Challenge, prompt challenge, creating a challenge

… dreaming of a new prompt…

Now, having mentioned the fires sweeping through Northern California at this time, I know I’m going to use this prompt to not just photography a Looking Down scenario, but tilt it in a way to make it a positive thing… a ‘looking up’ thing too. Doing so will help me process some of this and maybe a few others who might stumble across Obzervashunal from points north of here…

Considering joining us?

It’s really not as hard as they say…

Here’s what you do:

Golden Gate Park, San Francisco sites, sepia toned photography, black and white photography

Create your post as you normally do. Looking Down should be somewhere in your title or in the way you consider creating your challenge post for this coming Monday.

Once done, you can copy your post’s URL and paste it into the comment section of Monday’s post here and/or Dale’s Monday challenge post (linked above!!!). This creates what’s called a ‘pingback’, letting others see your amazing work.

When choosing your tags, be sure to use our #CosPhoChal tag. It’s one more way to help others see your work.

  1. I share your distress over the fires. Having witnessed a terrible firestorm in Victoria, Australia my thoughts are with the people of California at this time. Here’s my contribution to the challenge -https://wordandimagecollages.wordpress.com/2017/10/16/looking-down/

    1. Thank you. Yes, the fires here have been the worse we’ve ever had in recorded history. Many places across the planet are experiencing similar challenges. Thank you for your beautiful contribution to our challenge.

    1. Thanks, D. Here to 2018 bring many more words of wisdom and healing from our amazing Holistic Wayfarer. Could there be a book or three coming next year…? Just wishing… I mean saying!!!
