Those things in my life I’m thankful for, I suppose, could represent my personal definition of the word. Listing all the things I feel thankful for in my life- now, that might take a little time. It would undoubtedly be time well spent, but yes, the list I comprise would be a lengthy one.
I’ve opened this Monday, November 20th post with the word Gratitude because it happens to be the latest prompt in the ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, a challenge created by my buddy Dale and yours truly, in hopes of providing a challenging(!) yet fun way for YOU (yes…YOU) to share your photographic, literary, or otherwise creative interpretations of these prompts!
This week, it’s my shot at it, and Gratitude was actually the first word coming to mind as I say down to consider a new prompt.
Okay, maybe the third word… or so…
Having said and (you having) read all the above, you must be wondering what I came up with as my photographic definition of gratitude?
Here’s my take:
Nature as I see Her through five different ‘lenses’ or photos… I realized in putting these shots together for this post, I’m not only grateful for what I see through the camera’s eye and of course, my own, but the deeper thanks is for what I feel when I’m surrounded by Nature.
It’s become nearly impossible for me to NOT feel calm, peaceful, clear-headed, and yes, a sense of Gratitude when these types of scenes are in front of me. My hope is this won’t ever change…
How about you?
What is it you find yourself considering when looking at the word Gratitude?
Joining in on our challenge today is not as hard as you might think. In fact, it’s pretty darn easy.
Here’s what you need to do:
Create your post as you normally do. Give it a title using the word, GRATITUDE or some other word with a similar meaning…? Copy your post’s URL and past it into the comment section of this post… OR the challenge post you find at Dale’s site today. Be sure to use our #CosPhoChal tag along with any others you use and both Dale and I are looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
