The heart/life blood of a city due to its concentration of business and/or creative enterprises?

All of these possibilities and more came into my mind as I worked on my latest answer to, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge’s latest prompt.

That prompt, Downtown, was provided this past Friday by my buddy Dale. You can see his challenge post right here.


I could appreciate this prompt instantly, as we here in San Francisco have a pretty interesting downtown area. I also knew I’d had more than a few decent shots in my photo archives spotlighting our downtown from interesting angles.

With that said, the following is my latest slideshow fully focused on San Francisco’s
