Ah, a brand new Friday. I’ve got to say, I’m glad this one is finally here. I’ve got a couple reasons for the Friday gratitude, one being I’ve been working lots of hours lately without the benefit of too many days off. I’m glad I have work, a home, food, my bike… many don’t, but time off is necessary too…
I wake up on this particular Friday knowing those extra work days have paid off in the form of a mini-vacation of sorts and hey, who doesn’t like/need a vacation/down time every now and then?
My other reason for greeting a new Friday with a smile is due to the chance to bring you all another prompt in the ongoing photo challenge my buddy Dale and I alternately offer up each Friday, The K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge‘, with a big reveal happening each Monday.
This week, it’s my turn to do the offering, as it were, and what comes to mind for me is:
TEXTURES x THREE
I know. Some of you may be asking yourselves, ‘what does he mean by that?’ To which I’d say, the challenge this week is intended to get you thinking of TEXTURES, but make it three different types! Those three textures can literally be anything you want: wood, a flower petal, a building’s steel girder, absolutely anything.
Dale and I always want the doors to your creativity on these challenges swung WIDE open, allowing you to experiment however you like.
considering joining us?
it’s not as tough as you might think…
here’s what you do:
Create a post just like you normally do, only this time, let the word TEXTURE be a part of the title. Come Monday, if you copy your post’s URL and paste it into the comment section of either the challenge post you’ll find here at Obzervashunal or over at Dale’s site and his challenge post (he’s linked up above, and yes, we’re still going to use this method because some people like to show their work on both sites… but, it’s not a requirement!).
Doing the above creates a ‘pingback’, making it infinitely easier for others to see your work. Lastly, consider using our, #CosPhoChal tag, along with any other tags you want, and you’re all done.
Here’s to a fantastic weekend for you all!
