This week, Dale set forth the tone and the prompt with the following:
Now, I knew as I pondered this one, there were lots of directions I could take this. I couldn’t offer any shots of my indoor plants because I don’t own any. Just don’t have much of a green thumb, I guess.
I also couldn’t hop on a plane to visit a good friend of mine on the East Coast who happens to be amazing with plants, both indoor and out. I may have to turn that into a separate post just so I can share with you all what I mean…
In the meanwhile, I decided to dig down into my archives in search of a few shots that would ‘foot the bill’ for this challenge. Here’s what I came up with:
I went the flower route primarily for this one. I’m a big fan of flowers and plants outdoors, but the indoor varieties do seem to bring their own energy to a home or office, don’t they?
An interesting fact: The Pacific Orchid Expo, an event several of these shots come from, shows off a few THOUSAND types of orchids from around the globe. I have a hard time wrapping my head around this fact every time I consider it, but it is true and a wonder to behold.
I missed out this year, but thankfully have a good number of shots from previous visits to tide me over until next time…
Considering joining us on this journey of INDOOR PLANTS?
Sure you are!
It’s not too hard. Here’s all you need to do:Create your post just like you normally do; giving it a title somehow related to INDOOR PLANTS. Once done, copy the post’s URL and paste it into the comment section of Dale’s (linked above!!!) challenge post, this challenge post, or both. Doing so creates something called a ‘pingback’, a means for the world to quickly see and appreciate your work.
Lastly, be sure to use our #CosPhoChal tag and you’re all done.
Here’s to a fantastic week ahead for us all!
