always in search of new ways to get Cosmic!
Oh, Monday. You’ve somehow manages to sneak up on me again. I won’t say I didn’t know you were coming, but… well, you know.
Monday’s happen. Might as well get use to it.
The one thing which does make Monday’s sneaky ways alright is it’s the day my buddy Dale and I use for the unveiling of our latest offering in our ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.
This week, I took the ‘challenge helm’, and on Friday past, I presented the following prompt:
SIMPLY SURREALISTIC
The good thing both Dale and I agree on is we want to always keep our challenges completely open to interpretation. SIMPLY SURREALISTIC could mean a million different things to a million different people-
Hey! Imagine if we had a MILLION PEOPLE all showing us how they interpret-
Okay.
Could be cool, but might take down a server or two?
Anyhow, what I decided to do way rummage through my graphical archives where I found four (ice blue!) images I think fits the bill perfectly for this week’s challenge:
Surreal, but not too much of a straying from the actual pictures I took of all four of these items. I enjoyed creating these back the day. Chances are I’ll get around to doing more stuff like these in the not-so-distant future.
How about you?
Considering the challenge?
It’s not hard, in fact it’s pretty darn easy.
Here’s all you’d have to do:
Create your post as you normally do. It helps to have the word SURREAL or some variant in your title. Once completed, copy the URL of your freshly created post and paste it in the comment section of either this post or the challenge post you’ll find over at Dale’s fantastic site (he’s linked up above in this post).
Lastly, be sure to use our #CosPhoChal tag along with any other tags you care to use, and you’re done!
See. Easy!
In the meanwhile, here’s to a great rest of your Monday and a phenomenal week ahead!

I like the one with the big moon in the sky and the boats below.

Thanks, Frank! That was one of my favorite ones to construct.

Very nice, I like these. I also like the interpretive multi coloured shot at the top of the post, that’s very cool, too.

Thanks! The top one, beneath the photo challenge shot, is from a carousel at one of our many ‘tourist spots’ here in the city. Gotta do some more shots of that…

I love the carousel image. They are one of my favorite things. I look for them when I travel. I just got back from France and rode on two while I was there. So, I decided to use a photo from France of some paper flowers/lights that I wanted to buy but didn’t. 🙂 https://3rsofretirement.com/2018/03/13/klee-dales-cosmic-photo-challenge-simply-surrealistic/

Thank you! It’s one more thing we have in common. I’m working on a series of carousel images like these. I’ll be sure to let you know when I’ve got more complete.
