K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Notions of Shadows and Light

New K n D Prompt Shot

finding new ways to get Cosmic!

Greetings All,

Welcome to a brand new Monday here at Obzervashunal. As many (but not all) of you know, here at Obzervashunal, and at my buddy Dale’s site, Monday for some time now are reserved for the unveiling of our latest prompts in the, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

This week, (the Friday which we all just passed through!) I took on the challenge to create a new…um challenge and I came up with the following prompt:

black and white hike at Sutro

Now, because Dale and I leave the interpretations of our challenges wide open, I could have taken my own experimentation in a whole host of directions. Instead, I didn’t go too crazy on this one, preferring to bring together four of my favorite representations of either strong, bold photographic shadows, powerful light work, or combinations of the two concepts.

This is what I came up with:

What do you think? Better yet, what about your own Notions of Shadows and Light?

Joining in on our challenge isn’t nearly as hard as it may seem. Here’s how it’s done:

path to the pier

walk the pier at dawn

Create your post as you normally would, only this time title it in a way where Shadows and light are featured prominently.

Once complete, you can ensure others see your work quicker by copying your new post’s URL and pasting it into the comment section of either this post or the challenge post you’ll find at Dale’s site (linked as always up above!).

Lastly, be sure to use our #CosPhoChal tag along with any other tags you may want to use and you’re all done!

Here’s to a phenomenal week ahead and to the upcoming challenge this Friday!
