I made it to Monday! WoooHoo! Okay, making it to Monday is not necessarily a BIG thing; not even a MEDIUM thing, still I’m glad to be starting a brand new week, full to overflowing with all kinds of possibilities.
For those of you in the know, Mondays around these parts also are tied to the unveiling of a brand new, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge round!
For those of you happening past my humble site, know that my buddy Dale and I for some time now have been alternating weeks to create Friday prompts for the following Monday’s challenge. We both enjoy the creative process enough to keep it going AND, as luck would have it, we are often times joined in on the fun by various creative members of our blogosphere.
Now, this week, or should I say last Friday, I sent out the following prompt:
COSMICALLY CREATED COLOR
Some of you may be asking yourselves just what that term means? Dale’s and my response will more than likely be… whatever YOU choose it to be if you decide to join in! We actually do prefer those taking the challenges we offer up to be as creative and experimental as you want; define the prompts any way you like. That’s the fun of it all!
So, having told you both the title of this week’s challenge and the unveiling happens… well, it happens TODAY… you must, by now, be wondering what I came up with as a response to my own challenge?
Oh, just these few meager works:
Bees, birds, and the power of the Mighty Pacific Ocean at sunset. Color tweaks of actual photo works, blended with a bit of graphical experimentation while ramping the COLORS up to one thousand.
Those are my takes…
What about yours?
I know you’re dying to jump in, so let me tell you how to go about it:
Create your post as you normally do. Cosmically Created Color or any combo of those words should let us know you mean business. Once your amazing post it complete, copy its URL and paste it into the comment section of either this challenge post or the one you’re going to find over at Dale’s site (as always, he’s linked up above!) Doing this creates what’s known as a ‘pingback’, a fancy way to say you’ll make it much easier for others to find your work.
Lastly, be sure to use our #CosPhoChal tag, along with any other tags you deem necessary or cool…
Hit the big blue ‘publish’ button and you’re all done!
Here’s to a great week ahead, filled with lots of Cosmically Created Colors, of course!
