Welcome to another in the continuing photographic saga code named, The K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.
This week, my buddy Dale took on the responsibility of providing the prompt necessary for the challenge. On this past Friday, he did not disappoint with the following:
Now, Dale and I say it all the time: The weekly challenges we alternate putting forth on our respective sites, can and should be interpreted ANY way you like! That’s right. We want you to (well, for this week!) look at the words STREET PHOTOGRAPHY and let your imaginations SOAR!
What’s that- you want to know what I came up with for the challenge?
The only ‘set in stone’ variable I set for myself was the photos should be evening shots, AND for the most part they are. I did take one as the sun was setting. You wouldn’t know it because the artist and the stage she performed on were bathed in bright fluorescent lights!
Anyhow, here’s what I came up with in the following slideshow:
San Francisco, where all of these shots took place, is still a pretty cool city by day. But at night it can be a fantastic place to head out with a camera.
The three actual ‘street’ shots took place in and around Chinatown, a bustling, hustling evening kind of place.
The singer who I’m afraid I can’t at this time name, (I can tell you she had a phenomenal voice!) was part of the very first J-Pop Festival the city has ever hosted. It was amazing.
So, there you have it. My take on Dale’s prompt, ‘Street Photography’. As I normally do, Dale’s site and his challenge posting are linked up above.
You can join us by doing the following:
Create your post as you normally would, just title it in a way that those reading it will know it’s pertaining to street photography.
Once complete, copy your new post’s URL and paste it into the comment section of either Dale’s challenge post, or the one you’re currently reading.
Lastly, be sure to use our #CosPhoChal tag, along with any other tags you may want to use, and you are done!
Wishing you all a great week ahead!
