Welcome to Monday and to another in the ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge!
This past Friday, my buddy Dale took on the responsibilities for providing us with a new prompt:
THE FOOD OF LOVE
Got to admit…
I wasn’t so sure where I wanted to go with this prompt, and more importantly, I didn’t have a clue where to turn for a photo or three meant to represent said prompt.
All the doubt over what to do and use disappeared today with a trip down to a spot we here in San Francisco call, The Presidio.
What’s cool about this spot is a portion of it is a man-made bird sanctuary, that this time of year provides home and food to one of my favorite flying creatures- Turns.
After a couple hours of photographing these amazing birds, I knew I’d taken at least one shot I could use for this prompt, and here, done in my ‘painted graphic style’, is a work depicting one Turn offering , The Food of Love to another Turn:
… and I thought a few days ago this post was going to be about… CHOCOLATE!
Ironically, what I saw repeatedly was Seagulls waiting for the moment the Turns went to pass their food… to attempt to snatch it….
Nine times out of ten the Gulls lost out…
So that’s my take on Dale’s prompt.
How about your take?
I’m looking forward to seeing more of those before the day’s done.
Here’s to a great week ahead of us all…
