Welcome to another Friday here at Obzervashunal.
For all California’s reputation as the ‘sunny’ state, lately we here in the northern quadrant have been getting our fair share of cool, cloudy, smoggy skies. This due in part to a number of pretty serious wildfires burning for a while now. My prayers go out to those dealing with the fires directly. Please stay safe first! Stuff can be replaced.
Speaking from the experience of living in Northern California, cool weather is kind of the norm through the summer months here (to the dismay of many a visitor not in the know!)
Today, however, was the rare early morning blue sky I got to head out into. I’m newly returned from one of my jaunts; camera in hand, and hopefully, after a bit of editing, there will be pic to share from my outdoors adventures.
My other reason for mentioning Friday is it’s the day of the week me and my buddy Dale alternate offering up new prompts for our ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.
This week, the reins are in my hands and I came up with the following prompt:
Hiding In Plain Sight: Photo Elements You Might Have Missed
What’s it all about?
I figured we all have a photo or three with an interesting element we may have missed until some future viewing. It could be something large or small, blue or green, a person or thing we missed initially.
As always, I can’t tell you what I’m going to do because I’m not sure just yet. I’ll find something interesting, I’m sure.
How about you?
Considering joining our latest challenge?
It’s not too hard. Here’s what you need to do:
Create your post as you normally do. Once complete and to your personal liking, come Monday- the day of our unveiling- you can copy your post’s URL and paste it into the comment section of either the challenge post you’ll find here, or the one you’ll also find over at Dale’s site. (linked up above!)
Lastly, be sure to use our #CosPhoChal tag as yet another means of helping others quickly find your amazing work.
Here’s to a fantastic weekend for us all!
See you Monday.
