Welcome to another Monday here at Obzervashunal. This particular Monday happens to be a holiday here in the U.S.. We call it Labor Day– for some, a holiday of celebration and respect for the working class AND something of a ‘last hurray’ to the outgoing summer.
It’s also, coupled with this past weekend, a day off from work or school for many. That wasn’t the case for me so I’m just getting a chance to finish off my latest post- a post related to the latest in the K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.
This week, well, this past Friday, my buddy Dale took the helm and gave us the following challenge:
There are, of course, all kinds of ways to interpret a challenge prompt like that. Besides, as both Dale and I always say, the interpretation is all up to you!
What did I decide to do?
A slideshow of my images drawn from the depths of my photo archives, showing four potentially creepy crawlies.
As I look at them now, I’m pretty sure most if not all of these shots were taken in San Francisco’s Botanical Garden, in the heart of Golden Gate Park.
My one effect, used on all of them, was a muting of the actual colors. Nothing too out there, just another of my experiments!
So, there you have it. My take on Dale’s latest prompt, CREEPY CRAWLIES.
you do know you could still join in on the fun, right? Take a look at my last post for a few details on how to make that happen and we’ll wait for you!
In the meanwhile, if you’re celebration Labor Day, please continue to do so. If not, then I wish you a fantastic remainder of your Monday.
