When I think of the word, in the context of photography, I tend to think mostly of light. Finding ways to get the right amount of light so as to create… the perfect ‘exposure’.
There are, I’m sure. loads of articles one can find online and otherwise that will explain this concept much better that my meager attempt.
Today, Monday, I mention and am focused on the word exposure for a completely different reason AND in something of a different context!
Mondays, for those who do and don’t know, represent the unveiling day of the latest in the weekly series of challenges my buddy Dale and I like to call, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.
Dale and I alternate weeks with these challenges, and this week it’s my turn. On Friday I left you all with the following challenge:
DOUBLE THE EXPRESSION THROUGH DOUBLE EXPOSURE
Now, Dale and I always say with our challenges the definition is in YOUR hands. This simply means joining us in these challenges allows you to express and create any which way you like.
So, what did I come up with this week?
After much interior debate, the bird-guy in me won out and chose to create a few double exposures centered around a few of the very cool birds making their way through Northern California this time of year.
My three choices go something like this:
Nothing too complex or busy, or filled to overflowing with images and stuff… Although… I COULD have went that route and been perfectly okay with doing so!
Anyway, there you have it. My interpretation of my own challenge this week. Here’s hoping we’ll see some others in the coming days.
Joining in is not so hard a thing to do.
Here’s how to make it happen:
Create your post as you normally would; giving it a title similar to the one you see above. Once you’re satisfied with your new creation, copy the post’s URL and paste it in either the comment section of this post or the one you’ll find at Dale’s site(he’s linked above!)
Lastly, be sure to add our #CosPhoChal tag to whichever other tags you decide on and you’re done!
Here’s hoping it’s a great week ahead for us ALL!
