K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Unusual Tones or Textures

K'lee and Dale's

Greetings All

I’m definitely a little late with this posting, but as the saying goes: better late than never.

Here we are, making our way through another Monday and that can only mean it’s challenge reveal-time here at Obzervashual.

For those of you who may not know, each week my buddy Dale and I offer up new prompts for our ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

On Friday last, it was my turn and I left you all with the following:

UNUSUAL TONES OR TEXTURES

As is often the case for me (I can’t speak for Dale!), I didn’t know which way I’d take this prompt… until I did know!

Here’s what I came up with:

I figured this prompt deserved a couple of radically different tones/textures. From the golden sculptured doors of San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral, to a rocky shore at China Beach, to a pretty cool metallic architectural piece at the Main Library, to the fantastic artwork of Calvin Ma.

So, there you have it- well at least there you have MY interpretation of the prompt. It’s still not too late to include your vision to the mix. For details on how that’s done, here’s a link to my original Friday’s post.

In the meanwhile, here’s hoping whatever portion of your Monday is left, it’s the best portion!
