Welcome to another Friday here at Obzervashunal. Fridays here and at my buddy Dale’s site, have for some time now been the day of the week where we offer up brand new prompts in our ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.
As Dale took the helm last week with another excellent challenge, I hope I’m doing the same with this week’s concept.
Last year all over my beloved California, residents dealt with fires that tested mind, body, and Spirit. I can still remember when we received our first weather reports about incoming rains, substantial enough to put most of them out, allowing many to begin the process of rebuilding their lives and healing from their losses.
That idea and feeling about rain in 2018 got me thinking about the ongoing periods of rain we’re in the middle of as I type. We’ve had lots of extremely dry years here recently so any time I hear of impending storm activity, I say a little prayer.
Almost needless to say, I wanted a prompt that dealt with rain, but felt it should have that something ‘special’. I’m calling this week’s prompt:
The Spirit of Rain
Now, as Dale and I always suggest, you can define, translate, and create a response to this prompt any which way you choose. We tend to like that kind of thing, really.
If you’ve never taken one of our challenges (there’s a link to Dale’s site up above!), there’s nothing to it- I mean, there is something to it, but it’s not a difficult task to undertake.
Here’s all you need to do:
Create your post as you normally would. Let the word RAIN appear somewhere in the title if you like- it’s not mandatory. Once done to your satisfaction, come Monday, go ahead and copy your new challenge post’s URL and paste it into the comment section of either the challenge post you’ll find here, or the one you’ll find over at Dale’s spot. This makes it easy for others to check out and appreciate your amazing interpretation!
Lastly, be sure to use our #CosPhoChal tag, along with any other tags you care to use, and you’re done!
Rain, clouds, sun, or snow- wherever you happen to be this weekend, I’m wishing you a fantastic time being there.
