K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Toys!!!

Greetings All.

Welcome to another Monday, an on-again-off-again, stormy Monday here in Northern California, but with rain around these parts leaning to the scarce side, many (including myself) are more than willing to put up with its arrival because we know how much it’s needed.

Mondays here, and at my buddy Dale’s spot, have other uses. We like to use Mondays for the unveiling of our latest unveiling in our ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

This week, the challenge was set by Dale. He chose to revisit a great ‘blast from the past’; a prompt we’ve used before, but kind of knew it never really gets old:

Now, I admit this is one I actually changed at the last minute! Yes. I had my first choice all but ‘set in stone’, but with the words from a friends recent post still ringing in my ears, I decided to change it up into the following:

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

A few (seven, to be exact!) shots from the ‘ole archives, but hey, why not?

Start with some ‘toys’ that take to the air at ridiculous speeds (and cost crazy amounts of MONEY!) I’m talking a quartet of BLUE ANGELS buzzing the skies of The Bay Area every October…

Toys we enter competitions (like the triathlon these bikes were a part of! I may also mention they probably cost a GOOD amount of cash too?)

Or toys whose owners park them in various shows around the globe for the masses to stop and admire (Oh And there’s that MONEY thing again!)

A different kind of toy(s)?

You bet they are!

What about YOUR toys? How about toys you’ve seen out and about? There’s still time to share your view within the context of this challenge. We know you have it in you.

For more on the rules and stuff, check out the link to Dale’s site where you’ll find instructions on his prompt post from Friday.

In the meanwhile, here’s to  a great rest of your Monday and an even greater week ahead!
