Welcome to yet another in my and my buddy Dale’s ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge unveiling.
For those of you not familiar how we do this, here’s the gist:
Each week, (Fridays!!) Dale and I alternate offering up new prompts for you to consider as the latest challenge.
This week, it was my turn and I came up with the following:
Now, again for those who don’t know, and a reminder for those who may have taken a challenge of ours in the past, Dale and I don’t place restrictions as such on these challenges. We truly do like seeing you come up with your own interpretations AND experimentation- hence the word- COSMIC…
…you’re allowed to take your imagination all the way out there if you so desire…
For this one, I finally decided on a combination of photos. A few are from the archives- meaning you may have seen them utilized in previous posts, and a few are new- not used here, but perhaps published elsewhere OR absolutely new to the reveal?
Here then, is what I came up with:
Showing a little more love to my BAY AREA (…that would be San Francisco and its surrounding cool environments…) with shots of:
The Cliff House at Ocean Beach in San Francisco (this is my ‘painted graphic’ version),
A black and white of one of the many air shows buzzing past Alcatraz Island-also in San Francisco.
I believe The Marriott Hotel and its surrounding structures overlooking Oakland, California’s Lake Merritt. (this one’s been given a bit of that ‘cosmic’ flavor I mentioned earlier!)
A favorite dusk shot of San Francisco’s downtown silhouetted against a colorful almost nighttime sky.
What can I say? They’re all structures I never truly tire of checking out, so I thought they’d fit in just fine for this particular challenge.
What about you???
Surely there are a few SUBLIMELY STRUCTURAL structures you enjoy admiring? Maybe you’ll consider joining in the fun and adding one or more to this challenge?
The choice, of course, is yours…
In the meanwhile, keep an eye out for submissions from others right here at Obzervashunal AND over at Dale’s site (he’s linked up above!)
Here’s to a great rest of your Monday and to a phenomenal week ahead!
