finding new ways to get Cosmic!
Greetings All.
Welcome to another Monday here at Obzervashunal. Mondays here, and at my buddy Dale’s site, have become the ‘day of unveiling’ for our ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.
This week, I got to set the challenge and offered up the following:
WRITTEN IN STONE: STONE WORKS AND STRUCTURES- NEW OR OLD.
After spending a good amount of time this past weekend considering a number of shots, I decided to go with te following three:
A Night Heron, a Brown Pelican, and a Snowy Egret, all captured at the fantastic stone ruins we call Sutro Baths here in San Francisco at Ocean Beach.
This spot, by the way, is a great place for bird photography especially in winter and early Spring.
I’m looking forward to greeting the Hawks which show up around this time of year to start their mating and nest-building season soon.
Now, I know I’m posting this late in the day on Monday, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still join us! Just check out my last post for a few details and you’re good to go.
In the meanwhile, here’s to a great rest of your Monday, wherever that may be, and to a phenomenal week ahead!

Birds can still find a home in those ruins. Nice combination of birds and stone.

Loved this challenge, though I had to go back to my Egypt photos to find just the right image. https://3rsofretirement.com/2019/03/27/written-on-stone/

I highly recommend it! It had been on my list since I was about 12 years old. I would go back.

Yes. It’s very high on my list. I’m hoping to get at least three weeks to a month so I can really experience Egypt.
