So, last week I recall sharing with you how the weather (rain) pretty much stopped me from making my way to one of my favorite spots here in the City to get a few shots of our Botanical Gardens for a post.
This week, I initially wanted to get out into the city proper and shoot several architectural locales for today’s post.
Well, because today is Monday, and as many of you know, Mondays here at Obzervashunal, and at my buddy Dale’s spot, are used for the unveiling of our latest, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.
The choice of challenges this week was my responsibility and I went with the following:
COSMIC CURVATURE: ARCHITECTURAL MARVELS
Having NOT gone to my first choice of photo spots, I then decided to utilized some shots I had in my archives of a cool spot in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park- The Chinese Pavilion.
The location of this beautiful, serene pavilion (tucked behind Stow Lake) almost begged you to photograph it, and so I did:
The Chinese Pavilion is well worth the time it takes to circle around the back end of Stow Lake, especially on a bright, sunny day (like the one I took these shots on!)
So, there you have it. My take on my own challenge for the week. Here’s hoping I’ll possibly see some of your versions?
In the meanwhile, here’s hoping there’s a great week ahead for us all!
