K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: Eat, Drink, and Be Merry.

Greetings All.

Welcome to another Monday here at Obzervashunal.

Mondays, as some of you know, is the day of the week my buddy Dale and I unveil our latest responses to our ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

The creation of and the laying down of the latest challenge came from Dale this week, who offered us the following:

EAT, DRINK, AND BE MERRY

Now, I’ve got to say with this one, I truly was all prepared to do the ‘food and drink’ route with this challenge. I even had two of what I thought would be three photos ready to glue to my post…

Then I got to thinking a little differently. All I suppose I mean by that is I began thinking about the many ways people here around the Bay Area celebrate.

Sometimes it’s aligned with holidays, or big yearly events, birthdays, remembrances. I suppose the reason I wanted to switch my challenge focus is I came across a number of photos I thought encapsulated this prompt one hundred percent.

Here then, is what I went with:

Seven photos of how we here in the Bay Area like to celebrate… oh, and the food is not too bad either!

We have some amazing festivals, parades, expos, and summertime (and through the Fall) tend to be the best times to get out and about.

I’m hoping I’ll see a few of you take on this challenge. It’d be nice to know how other spots around the world go about their own, ‘eat, drink, and be merry’.

In the meanwhile, here’s to a fantastic week ahead for us all!
