K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: What’s the Prompt???

Greetings All.

It’s always nice to get a post in by the end of the week. I know, of late, there doesn’t seem to be much more that that here at Obzervashunal. Trust me, there are work-related reasons for it, and while I’m not one to make excuses for not doing something I truly enjoy… for many of us, our ‘work’- that slice of time we dedicate to create a bit of cash to pay the bills and hopefully(!) go out to enjoy life occasionally- is a necessary evil of sorts.

Don’t get me wrong, I like what I do- always have-, but oftentimes, it doing it does not leave as much time for my creative pursuits as I’d like.

Now, with all that said and committed to the page, I can say unequivocally I appreciate Fridays much more than in the past because it is the day of the week either my buddy Dale or myself offer up fresh new prompts for your consideration in our weekly ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

This week, I get to ‘prompt you to join us’ with the following…um, prompt:

A State of Independence

I’m not going to say it represents any one thing in particular because… it doesn’t! It’s the prompt that literally forced its way into my brain cells a few hours ago and, like an unwanted guest, simply wouldn’t leave!

I figure the best way to deal with situations such as those is to… well, to work with them… create something and in this case, we’re calling on you to create a photographic or literary response which speaks to A State of Independence the way YOU would define it.

Yes. We- Dale and I- prefer you (meaning all of you joining us on this adventure) to define the prompt any way you like.

Cool, huh???

So. There you have it. Our latest pro port and challenge all at the same time!

I’m looking forward to Monday because it’s the day we do our unveiling to see just what you came up with.

In the meanwhile, here’s to a fantastic weekend to you all!
