Welcome to Obzervashunal, Monday, and a brand new unveiling of my buddy Dale’s and my ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.
This week, I got to set the challenge, and on this Friday past, I offered up the following:
As Dale and I always say with our challenges, you get to define; to literally create and explore the meaning for yourselves. We shall not stand in your way!
With that said, let me show you what I did, and I might add, I did it with a few newer shots instead of depending on the old archives:
The first three come from a structure here in San Francisco called, The Palace of Fine Arts. Easily one of my favorite places to hang out, The Palace speaks to me because it looks ancient, has a beautiful lake in the middle, and even in black & white, it still speaks to me.
The final shot of The Golden Gate Bridge, is enhanced not only by the black&white effects, but by one of my favorite migrating birds, the TURNS!
These are incredible birds who, if you’ve never seen them, at a moments notice will take to the skies en masse to amaze you with a few quick maneuvers before settling back to earth on the edge of the wildlife sanctuary in the middle of The San Francisco Presidio.
That’s my take of, ARCHITECTURAL DIGESTIF.
How about you???
Here’s hoping Dale and I will see some of your takes on this challenge soon!
