K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: The End of Summer!

Greetings All.

Finally a minute to sit down and put together my post for today!

I’ll start as I typically do by welcoming you all to my humble spot here on the WP, called Obzervashunal.

Mondays, as some of you know, are set aside by myself and my buddy Dale for the latest unveiling of our latest, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, which we typically set up for your approval the Friday before.

This week, Dale took the helm and steered us into the following challenge:

A somewhat sad and reflective prompt (for me anyhow!), that asks us to consider… well, to consider what it is you consider when you see those words as a prompt!

As I mentioned in my response to Dale’s prompt, I had a pretty strong, solid notion of where I wanted to take this one.

Believe it or not, I actually stuck with that original vibe and decided on the following:

tiger striped butterflies mythology, flash fiction, storytelling, writingblack crows fly, a murder of crows, birds flying highthe change of the seasons, autumn colors, exotic flowers

From the beautiful woman selling flowers at one of our many festivals, to the somewhat sad-looking Golden Bear, to my rendition of a ‘murder of crows’ (that’s actually what a bunch of them are called!), to another rendering of a, ‘end of summer’ Harvest Moon rising over our iconic Golden Gate Bridge, we here in the San Francisco Bay Area tend to celebrate the departure of Summer and welcome the Fall mainly because it’s the time of our BEST weather.

I’ve even have a few extra days off to enjoy the excellent weather we are currently being blessed with, so yeah, see ya, Summer!

Okay. That’s my take. How about YOU and yours???

There’s still time to consider and to join in either here or at Dale’s site so no excuses!

In the meanwhile, here’s to a fantastic Monday and an even better week ahead for us all!
