K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: What’s the Prompt???

Greetings All.

Welcome to Obzervashunal and to the latest in my buddy Dale‘s and my ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

With tomorrow being December 1st; last month of the year, I thought it fitting our third to last challenge should speak somehow to this particular time of the year.

I’m not the biggest fan of Winter. As a child, I remember reminding myself of this fact on a continual basis just about every day I walked to school, or later on down the years, waited for the school bus to drop me off just far enough from home in Winter so as to have me repeating my ‘I don’t like cold weather’ mantra again and again.

More years have passed, and while I’m still not crazy about cold weather or the lessening of the day’s light, I have come to appreciate other aspects of this, the last change of seasons for the year.

ocean alcoves, ocean caves, stormy seas, San Francisco's Ocean Beach, Sutro Bath Ruins

With all that in mind, I figured I’d present you with the following prompt:

THE COMING OF WINTER /WINTER’S BREATH

Now, if you do choose to join us on this challenge, know it’s not necessary to respond to both of those notions. You can even create your own concert of the words in the prompt so long as some portion of the original idea is present in your post.

storms, Spring weather, hurricanes, storm graphics

Dale and I want you to have the freedom to interpret our challenges however you like. We think it makes for a more…challenging….um, challenge!

Okay. With prompt and challenge firmly set before you, here’s hoping you’ll actually join us on Monday with a post of your own for the weekly unveiling.

In the meanwhile, here’s to not only a good weekend ahead, but a good Winter too!
