K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge: THE COMING OF WINTER /WINTER’S BREATH

Greetings All

Welcome to Obzervashunal, my humble, little spot here on the WP. Welcome also to a brand new Monday, the day of the week, for some time now, where my buddy Dale and I unveil the latest responses to our ongoing, K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Interestingly, Dale and I both set up individual challenges this week. I chose the following:

As is the case with all of our challenges, we’re not too interested in having those of you choosing to join us following the wording of these prompts as if they were written in stone…

…although, having prompts written on a nice slab of polished marble would…

Never mind.

What we’re interested in from week to week is simply that you post an interpretation, one which we share with any and all who happen to find our perspective sites.

For my own interpretation, I decided on the following:

(* let it be mentioned, Northern California is NOT known for its harsh winters. We do have about a week’s worth of rain working its way through the area as of this writing, but, no, cold, challenging Winter this is not…)

Perhaps it’s obvious, for this post/challenge, I decided ‘ice blues’ were representative of Winter more than any other color or scheme.

I do occasionally wish I could experience true winter snow… but then the thought of how snow is generally accompanied by cold makes me rethink the wish in its entirety.

Here’s hoping Dale and I will see some of yours in the coming days?

In the meanwhile, here’s hoping none of us have too harsh a winter and we all find reason to enjoy its breath and its occasional breathtaking beauty in the coming months.
