Just my way of coming around ‘full circle’!

… So, I’ve been asked what the history of this particular bendy portrait of me is? I deem it a fair question which I will answer thus:

I have always been an athlete in some way, shape(!), or form. I found, years ago, getting my ‘stretch on’ outdoors in the sunshine and fresh air always felt better than doing the same stretching in-doors. The graphic based on a picture (sans the little ‘mirage’ effect!) was born out of that passion and the lens of a friend named Wolfgang.

When I decided to jump back into blogging, I wanted an image that spoke to who I was and still am. I like this one best as it reminds me every day that if you don’t stretch your life, your muscles and tendons, your passions, well they have a tendency to get all rusty and stuff! I don’t like that feeling too much…

With that said, Welcome to my blog! Have a look around. Hopefully as I grow, the interesting stuff will grow too… And not just here, but at YOUR site as well. It you visit me, best believe I’ll be doing the same!

So true. Needed this reminder, myself.

Thanks for stopping by and happy blogging! Your work is definitely unlike what I have seen before. I look forward to exploring your blog. 🙂
